Rachel Coventry is the beekeeper and manager at Curtis Orchard and Pumpkin Patch in Southwest Champaign, Illinois. Her hard work with honey bees at Curtis Orchard & Pumpkin Patch resulted in 2017’s prestigious “World’s Best Tasting Honey” award. Coventry can also be found planting trees in the spring and managing the bakery and store staff in the fall, all the while serving on our county tourism board and chamber of commerce board, tagging migrating monarch butterflies, promoting beekeeping to clubs and organizations, and even raising three daughters with another baby due in July!
