Neil Dahlstrom

Neil Dahlstrom is the Branded Properties and Heritage Manager at John Deere where he engages brand enthusiasts through the corporate archives and Branded Properties—the John Deere Pavilion, John Deere Historic Site, and John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum. He currently serves on the Food and Agriculture Advisory Board at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and the boards of Visit Quad Cities and The Figge Art Museum. His third book, Tractor Wars: John Deere, Henry Ford, International Harvester, and the Birth of Modern Agriculture, won the American Book Fest award for Best History in 2022, and inspired a PBS documentary of the same name.

Neil is an Illinois native, and lives in the Quad Cities with his wife and son.
