Kylee Krizmanic is the Editor in Chief and Content Director of Meredith Corporation’s Travel Marketing Content Studio and Midwest Living magazine, which reaches 4.1 million readers. In four years, Krizmanic and her team have grown the small studio into a travel industry powerhouse with a roster including Travel Illinois, Visit California, Visit Phoenix, Montana Tourism, West Virginia Tourism, the Nevada Arts Council, Pure Michigan, Travel Wisconsin and many other DMOs. Her team produces state travel guides, inspiration pieces, native print and digital programs, TV segments, short documentary films and social content packages. The group’s work won a 2018 Folio Award for Best New Custom Magazine for its work with Travel Nevada and a 2019 FOLIO Award for a content marketing program on behalf of Arizona Office of Tourism. In recent years, FOLIO has also honored its work on visitors guides for Travel Illinois and Visit North Carolina. Krizmanic’s group was named a finalist at the 2018 FOLIO Awards for editorial team of the year and also has received a number of awards recognizing excellence in filmmaking, including a 2018 FOLIO Award for best regional film series and a gold for travel video work at the 2018 SATW Lowell Thomas Awards.
Krizmanic has led her team to additional notable work through the popular Midwest Living Road Rally franchise, which was a finalist for an MPA Kelly Award. She was named a Des Moines 40 under 40 in 2017 and was included in the 2018 class of FOLIO’s Top Women in Media. Krizmanic previously served as Creative Director for Meredith Travel Marketing Content Studio and Midwest Living magazine, as well as Deputy Art Director for Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Kylee and her husband, Nick, are the parents of two young daughters.
