Kristin Bienert is the Editorial Content Manager of Meredith Corporation’s Travel Marketing Content Studio, the custom media arm of Midwest Living magazine, which reaches 4.1 million readers. Bienert works primarily on state travel guides, including Enjoy Illinois. Along with a new-for-2020 name, the state’s travel guide (formerly Travel Illinois) will see a redesign bringing best-in-category design elements for a fresh and even more positive reader experience, which will continue to drive visitors to the Prairie State. In 2017, Travel Illinois received recognition from FOLIO as a finalist for the Full Issue Custom Category, alongside such other noted brands as Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Cambria and Washington State Wine. Bienert’s other client projects include inspiration pieces, native print and digital programs, TV segments and social content packages, as well as concept-to-completion project management. Prior to joining Meredith Corporation in 2005, Bienert lived in downtown Chicago and worked in the advertising industry.
