In addition to being an accomplished photographer, Kathy Casstevens is the Marketing Manager at Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center where her photographs are on display throughout the Lodge and in much of the marketing material. Casstevens is the current Chairman of the LaSalle County Tourism Coalition. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Purdue as well as a second degree in Photography.

Kathy has spent very little time without a camera in her hands over the past 45 years. Her photographs appear in numerous regional and national publications. Kathy is the proud mom of her two adult children, Stephanie and Grant. They are both married. She is a loving daughter to her dad, Jim Spitzmiller, who enjoys coming over to her house every day for pancakes & piano!
