New to Epsilon but not new to Tourism, Christie led the Frankenmuth Convention and Visitors Bureau in Michigan for the past nine years as head of marketing before joining the Epsilon team as Director of Destination Development. During her time in Frankenmuth, a small town of only 5,000, she helped develop innovative campaigns and strategies to grow tourism to over three million annual visitors. She also led the Michigan Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau’s marketing committee for five years, developing innovative and collaborative statewide campaigns with Pure Michigan.
Prior to her work in tourism, Christie worked in Detroit as an Account Supervisor for Chevrolet at PR agency FleishmanHillard. She also spent time working in Kalamazoo, MI at digital marketing agency Biggs-Gilmore, where she created the social framework and strategy for Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts, Rice Krispies, Morningstar Farms, Heinz Ketchup and Cottonelle, among others.
