Amy Carr is General Manager, USA, and Chief Storyteller for TimeZoneOne. Amy has a long history of working with journalists–freelance and full-time staffers –to tell stories to the right audiences. Before joining TZO, Amy enjoyed a long career in executive leadership at some of Chicago’s top media titles, most recently as Editor-in-Chief of Chicago magazine.

Prior to that, Amy was on the masthead at the Chicago Tribune as Director of Content, Life + Culture, overseeing Travel, Food & Dining, Arts & Entertainment, Real Estate and live events. And, as Executive Editor of Time Out Chicago, she was part of the team that launchedthe magazine and corresponding website in Chicago in 2005. She lives in Chicago, has two grown sons and is a die-hard tennis player who has not jumped on the pickleball bandwagon…yet.
