Tracey Minder joined the Illinois Office of Tourism in October 2018. Although new to the Tourism realm, Tracey has been with the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity for 29 years in a variety of capacities; having spent the past 19 of those years as a fiscal and programmatic monitor, reviewing an array of Departmental grants for compliance. As the newest member of the Tourism team, Tracey is jumping in with both feet to manage three programs; Tourism Attraction Grant Program, Tourism Private Sector Grant Program, and the Municipal Convention Center & Sports Facility Incentive Grant Program. She looks forward to assisting with the promotion of Illinois Tourism.
Tracey and her husband Evan have been married for 30 years and have two adult children. She is a certified scuba diver, enjoys traveling and partaking in exhilarating activities while vacationing (whitewater rafting, zip lining, and canyon hiking), visiting with friends and family, and babysitting her grand dog Charlotte.
