Founder & CEO, Concierge Preferred
Tim O’Malley is a 20-year veteran of the media industry. He has focused his entrepreneurial career primarily on digital marketing and publishing.
Tim was Founder and President of Social Media Beast, a Chicago-based social media marketing and content creation agency that specialized in small- to mid-sized businesses which was sold to PowerPost digital last year. He also started Concierge Preferred, a Chicago-based visitor marketing company that he founded with his business partner, Mike Magnusson. Before founding Concierge Preferred in 2002, O’Malley was a Senior Vice President at TravelCLICK, an online travel marketing company where he created a new division of the company to build a digital marketing network for travel. Prior to that role, he had an award-winning career in sales and marketing at the Tribune Company, Times Mirror, and Where Magazine.
O’Malley has served on a number of civic boards, including the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago, the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau, St. Laurence High School, and the Magnificent Mile Association. He is currently President of the One for the Kids charities. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and Saint Laurence High School and is an avid White Sox fan. He lives in the Western Suburbs, is married, and has two boys.
