Cat Jordan

Head of Communications

An imported Brit now residing in New York, Ms. Jordan has a wealth of communications and marketing experience in the travel industry. Cat was previously responsible for consumer and brand public relations at one the world’s busiest airports, Heathrow Airport, in the United Kingdom. Cat created award-winning campaigns such as bringing in famed philosopher, Alain de Botton to live at the airport and write a book about his experiences. Cat also managed the marketing and public relations for the retail side of Heathrow’s business including multi ‘World Airport Awards’ winning Terminal 5. Cat has also held roles at Visit Britain and Families Go! Travel where she created destination and travel-led content for many different audiences.

In her current role at Travelzoo, Cat pioneered the ‘Travelzoo Live’ product creating and managing live and produced content from St Patrick’s Day in Dublin Ireland via Oktoberfest in Munich to Christmas at Walt Disney World in Orlando. In December 2017, the Travelzoo team had a pivotal role in the MSC Seaside Inauguration event, reporting live from the “blue” carpet in Miami.

Cat also manages member and consumer events for Travelzoo – this year winning the coveted Stevie Women in Business Award for Travelzoo’s live panel with ‘Women in the World Summit’ creator Tina Brown celebrating Travelzoo’s 80% female board.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Cat is working hard on her American-focused bucket list and showing her children the variety of amazing places within America’s borders. Last year Cat and her family visited Baltimore, Charleston, Miami, New Orleans, Washington D.C. and Woodstock. There was also time for that obligatory family trip to Disney World, Florida too. Cat’s best memory of 2017 was cruising on the MSC Divina in the Caribbean and swimming with Dolphins in Anguilla.
