Jessica Adams is an award-winning HR Professional, Speaker and PHR holder who possesses core competencies in the areas of change management, performance management, workforce planning, compensation, job design and career pathing, employee relations, employee engagement and feedback methods, and organizational design. As the VP of People at Brad’s Deals, she is responsible for recruiting, human resources, culture and performance. Under her leadership, Brad’s Deals has grown from 9 employees to 90 and two office locations. She is the founder of their Women Tech Accelerator Program, an in-house program where four female entrepreneurs and their businesses get access to Brad’s Deal’s office resources to help their companies grow. Jessica’s work has helped the online deals company be recognized as a top workplace for diversity and achieve 50% female representation across multiple levels of the company.
Jessica holds Psychology and Human & Organization Degrees as well as a Masters in Human Resources Development from Vanderbilt University. After graduation, she worked as a Human Resources Coordinator for Baptist Hospital. Upon moving back to Chicago, she worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Washington Mutual Bank and then moved on to be a Senior HR Business Business Partner at CNO Financial Group before joining Brad’s Deals. Jessica obtained her PHR in 2007, and in 2018 she was awarded the national “HR Game Changer” award from Workforce Magazine. In 2019, she was the recipient of the Benny Award for her work in healthcare from Employee Benefit News Magazine (EBN). When she is not at work, Jessica likes to cook, read and spend time with her Dave, her husband and her three children, Everleigh (9), Gwyneth (7) and Noelle (4). She loves her crock pot and can make just about any soup you might want.
