The 2012 Illinois Governor's Conference on Tourism will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road, Rosemont. It is located across the street from The Hyatt Regency O'Hare, where a limited number of rooms are available at a discounted rate to registered conference attendees (see Accommodations).

Public Transportation: CTA and AMTRAK
The hotel and conference center are three blocks from the Rosemont CTA "L" station. Starting in January, Amtrak will provide a 20 percent discount on rail fare to the Illinois Governor's Conference on Tourism. After January 1, this offer can be booked at Amtrak .com under the Deals tab: Amtrak " Illinois Winter/Spring Offer." Find the offer and "click through" to automatically receive the 20 percent discount if your travel qualifies. The offer is valid on all Illinois State supported trains named the Carl Sandburg, Illinois Zephyr, Lincoln Service, Saluki and Illini. Commuter service to the Rosemont area is easily accessible two blocks south of the Amtrak Station, near Clinton and Congress. Space is limited; other restrictions may apply.

NOTE: AMTRAK trains arrive at Chicago's Union Station. From Union Station to Rosemont take the CTA, taxi or another mode of transportation. For information about CTA service, log onto: Transitchicago.com

Driving
